Bonnie Schneider, a weather expert who is on CNN and HLN's various platforms. She is also the producer on camera and co-executive for a DIY NETWORK TV special called"LAST HOUSE RUNNING" which debuted on in March of 2012. Bonnie's first book is EXTREME WEATHER published Palgrave Macmillan on January 31 in 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. While in Boston, she also provided reports on lifestyle and entertainment as the special assignment reporter three days a week. The previous job she held was weather forecaster for weekends at WFOR-TV, Miami. She's held a variety of jobs in meteorology and reporting, such as: News 12 Long Island that is a 24-hour cable news television network, and WXII-TV, the NBC affiliate located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Another job she held was occasionally a substitute for The Saturday Early Show in New York City for CBS.
