Sarah Chalke
Sarah Chalke was born on 27 August 1976
in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Angie Chalke is her mother and Doug Chalke are her
father. She is the middle child, having one older sister, Natasha Chalke, and
one younger, Piper Chalke. Sarah made her acting debut with City Boy (1992), a
made for television movie. In 1993, shortly after her first film, she was a
candidate for the part of "Becky" in the TV series Roseanne (1988).
Following the time that Alicia Goranson left the show to attend college The show
was looking for an alternative. Sarah graduated from highschool in 1995. She
was also involved in the making of Roseanne (1988) between 1994 and 1995. In
1994, Sarah starred alongside Jim Varney in Ernest Goes to School (1994). She
was in Robin of Locksley (1996) and Stand Against Fear(1996). In these films
Sarah played the role of Krista Wilson and was who was a cheerleader. Sarah was
invited to perform in a 1998 TV show called Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy. It
was a year after Roseanne (1988). It was based on the television film with the
same title which was called Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy (1998), which Sarah
was also in. Sarah took over the role of Becky in Roseanne (1988) from Alicia
Goranson in 1993. Said she would like to take a break from acting and go to
college. (2001) (1993-1997) Was the older sister to Sara Gilbert on Roseanne
(1988), but is actually younger. Participated in 1999's CCMA awards ceremony
and was awarded the prize for the top single. September 1999 8 was in Vancouver
plays. The actress is fluent in French and German. She is a volunteer for
hospices that provide care to seriously ill children. Chalke likes to cook with
friends (especially Thai or sushi) as well as play guitar and ski, hike (she's
an instructor), and kayaking. Her father is an attorney, and both of her
parents manage an agency for adoption of children. Her parents took her to
China in order to manage the adoptions of several orphans.
